Four civilian injured as clashes erupt in Kulgam

April 29:(KNB)Four civilians injured as clashes erupt between government forces and youth in Qaimoh and kujar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, where polling is underway for Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency.

Reports said that at many places youth have errected barricades on roads to halt the government forces movement and the forces deployed in the area swung into action and fired tear smoke shells to quell the protesting youth resulting in clashes.

The injured youth were identified as Khalif Ahmad son of Basir Ahmad a resident of Monghall, Waseem Ahmad son of Ghulam Ahmad, Zahid Ahmad son of Mohamad Shafi and Shakir Ahmad son of Farooq Ahmad all residents of Kujar area of Frisal in Kulgam and the injured civilians were taken to hospital.(KNB)
