Former Senior PDP leader joins National Conference

Srinagar, July 21(KNB): Former Peoples Democratic Party  (PDP) leader and MLA Pulwama Khalil band on Sunday has joined National Conference in presence of the party president Dr Farooq Abdullah.

Earlier, Senior Party leader Khalil resigned from the basic membership of the party siting reasons of senior leaders being humiliated and sidelined in decision making process.

With Khalil’s joining of NC, the PDP has lost almost more than a dozen senior leaders so far including Irshad Rasool Kar, Dr Haseeb Drabu, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Altaf Bukhari, Javid Mustafa Mir, Imran Raza Ansari, Abid Ansari, Mohammad Abbas Wani, Peer Hussian, Raja Aijaz Ali Khan, Mehboob Iqbal, Bashir Ahmad Runiyal and Bakir Rizvi.(KNB)
