16 more test positive for Covid-19 in Kashmir, tally rises to 94 in J&K

Srinagar, April 4 (KNB): With the confirmation of 16 more cases as Covid19 positive, the tally in J&K touched 94 on Saturday, officials said.

Sources informed that 8 of them are admitted in GMC Baramulla.

“5 in SKIMS while one of them is at Chest Disease hospital Dalgate”

Earlier J&K Govt Spokesperson Rohit Kansal tweeted about the new three postive cases of Covid-19 in Udhampur district of Jammu division. 

“Three more positive cases reported today from Narsoo, Udhampur. All contacts of a positive patient from Udhampur with travel history abroad,”  Spokesperson tweeted.

As per officials, 87 are undergoing treatment in different hospitals and two from Jammu and one (first COVID-19 patient) from Kashmir have been discharged after they recovered from the disease.

However two persons from Kashmir died due to the Covid19. (KNB)
