One of the resident of litter Pulwama said,” The area has become more vulnerable as far as further transmission of the Covid-19 virus is concerned and it becomes imperative to take stringent precautionary measures to prevent its spread while Government has already announced 21 days of lockdown but the people here are not following it completely.

Another resident of nearby area said, ” Almost whole country has gone into a complete lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus pandemic but unfortunately here not only the people of litter village but also the people from surrounding villages usually gather at J&K bank litter which can be a threat to the entire valley.”

Pertinently, seven villages have been declared as red zones in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama due to the threat of spread of Covid-19 pandemic which are in the close vicinity of litter area of Pulwama district.(KNB)
