Srinagar, March 21(KNB): The number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Ladakh rose to 13 after three more in the Union territory tested positive for the virus.
As per the sources, the three newly positive cases of Caronavirus include a 34-year old Army man from Ladakh who came in touch with his father who had returned from Iran from a pilgrimage recently.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Secretary (Health) Rigzin Samphel has confirmed that all the three cases were positive and the patients have been immediately shifted to an isolation ward in a hospital.
However, all educational institutions, hotels and restaurants among others have already been closed down in the region till March 31.(KNB)
