Covid19: Kashmir reports third death as Bandipora man loses battle for death

Srinagar 07 April (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir recorded its third COVID-19 death after a patient being treated in a SMHS hospital succumbed. With detection of five new positive cases in Kashmir valley, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 125. 

Talking to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), Medical Superintendent SMHS, Dr Nazir Chowdary said, The deceased was a covid patient. 

The deceased was identified as a resident of Gund Jahangir area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora.

The last victim was 50-year-old man from Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, who tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday, and died early Sunday morning in the Chest and Diseases hospital (KNB)
