DECEMBER 29 ( KNB) : District Development Commissioner Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today chaired a meeting to review the progress made in the disposal of various grievances received from the Governor’s Grievance Cell.
The meeting was informed that 79 grievances of different nature have been received from the Grievance Cell. It was given out that some of the grievances and complaints have already been disposed of and some are in the process of disposal.
The DDC stressed upon the heads of various departments at the district level to expedite the progress regarding the disposal of all the grievances received as soon as possible. He directed the heads of the concerned departments to seriously look into the issues reported by the general public and create a friendly and conducive atmosphere at their own level for immediate disposal of genuine complaints and grievances. He also dirrected to develop internal tracking system in departments for prompt redressal of grievances.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC Kulgam Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, ACR, Shahnawaz Ahmad Shah,Tehsildars, Executive Officer of Municipal Committees and other district and sectoral officers.
