Srinagar, July 25(KNB): Rains lashed out Kashmir valley on Thursday morning which has led to waterlogging in many areas of Srinagar city.
With relief from scorching heat and humid weather condition many areas in Srinagar like City centre Lal Chowk, Jahangir Chowk, Qamarwari, Downtown areas, Bemina, Rajbagh witnessed waterlogging while the traffic movement was also affected across the city annoying residents.
Pertinently, Srinagar Administration tweeted, “Dewatering pumps have been activated at all locations & sucker machines deployed. More areas to be covered shortly.”
Meanwhile, the Meteorological department had predicted a two-day spell of rains from Thursday.(KNB)
