Srinagar, Jul 31 (KNB): Small screen diva Hina Khan’s music video titled ‘Bhasoodi’ has evoked lukewarm response from the music lovers.

With over 17 million views on Youtube since its release the four-minute-long video song Bhasoodi is featuring Kashmir born Hina Khan as women who run after rich men. The song is sung by Sonu Thukral and is debut music video of Hina.

100 mein se tujhe anda milega, mere baal dekh, tujhe ganja milega, main Kareena Kapoor jaisi dhundunga aur tujhe koi Swami Om jaisa banda milega,” – These are some of the lyrics from the song.

Pertinently, Born in Srinagar’s Khan family Hina become a household name after she was featured as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2009. She participated as a contestant in reality show Big Boss season 11 and reached the finals where she lost to Shilpa Shinde, however, unlike other contestants Hina lacked the support of her homeland i.e. Kashmir.

Prior to entering the Big Boss house, Hina participated in adventure-based reality series Khatron Ke Khiladi where she finished up as the 1st runner up. That time the performance of Hina was lauded in nook and corner of the country, however, majority of the people in Kashmir at that time also turn a deaf ear and blind eye.

Undoubtedly, actress Hina Khan is one of the finest actors on Indian television, but on ground lever her fan following at her birth place Kashmir seems very less as compared to other celeb actresses of the country.
“Being a Kashmiri girl myself I know how simplicity can be breathtakingly beautiful,” Hina recently wrote on Twitter while commenting on a hit song from movie, Raazi.

The latest release of Khan, Bhasoodi though has a very catchy music and lyrics but monitoring social networking sites in Kashmir where mostly alike songs become viral, very less content was found in this regard which clearly exhibits its poor response in Hina’s homeland. (KNB)
