April 30: Mukhtar Memorial Society A NGO for Academic Research and Community Development organized a seminar titled Khwaab- a dream of drug free Kashmir in Kashmir Law College Nowshera.
In his inaugural speech Dr Syed Afzal Qadri welcomed the distinguished guests and participants and thanked Faizan Hasan Khan , Chairman Mukhtar Memorial Society and his teamfor organizing this event.
Speaking on the occasion Dr.Muzaffar of inchagre of Drug De Addiction Center Police Control Room shared his first hand experience of dealing with this social menace.
SP Hazratbal Mr.Sudanshu IPS also spoke about the role of police in curbing the menace and what all J&K Police has achieved in this regard.
College students presented a skit on Drug Addition which was followed musical performance and few others shared their views about the gravity of the problem we as a society are facing.
The skit was awarded as the best performance of the event. All the distinguished guests were also facilitated.
