LeT militant Killing: Baramulla Observes Complete shutdown

Baramulla, July 18: Baramulla observed complete shutdown on Thursday to mourn the death of a local militant who was killed in Sopore gunfight yesterday.

All the shops and other business establishments were closed in the town, while thin movement of private transport was witnessed on the roads in Baramulla town.

As per the reports, people from the Baramulla and its neighboring areas visited the residence of the slain militant to offer condolence to the family.

Pertinently, Adnan Channa of Arampora Baramulla who joined Lashker-e-Toiba militant outfit in the month of March this year was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Gun Brath area of Sopore on Wednesday.

Moreover, Degree colleges were closed in the Baramulla town to prevent law and order problem.(KNB)
