Pakistan is Responsible for Peace disrupt in Kashmir: Lt General KJS Dhillon

Srinagar, Aug 02(KNB): A joint press conference of Army, police and CRPF was held by Lt.General KJS Dhillon along with DG police Dilbagh Singh, ADGP CRPF Zulfkar Hassan and IG Kashmir S P Pani at BB cantt Srinagar on Friday.

Addressing the press conference Lt General said, ” Militant outfit is the main target of us especially Jaish Muhammad, Ghazwatul Hind, Lashkar Toiba and from last six months we have been able to eliminate them and the process is still in progress. ”

He further said, “it appears Pakistani Army is trying to disrupt peace and ongoing Amarnath Yatra in the state while Pakistan army mind has been recovered and is being retrieved.”

He added that an M-24 sniper rifle, IEDs and landmines belonging to the Pakistani Army along with a telescope were recovered along the Amarnath route.

Lt. General while appealing mothers of young youth of Kashmir said, “83% of militants were from the stone Pelters, I request all mothers to stop your sons from this where if your son just for €500 is involved in stone pelting, he will be tomorrow’s militant and will destroy his bright future.”

DG police Dilbagh Singh said, “Amaranth Yatra has been peaceful, there have been serious attempts to disrupt the yatra but it has been unsuccessful due to the hard work of security personnel.”

He further added, “All top leader ship and orginization including Jamate Islam, JKLF has been taken down and top leaders have been booked under various sections.”

While appealing youth he said, “Those who have joined militancy I appeal them to come back and join your families and leave this path.”

The Army then assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that no one will be allowed to disrupt peace in the state. (KNB)
