PDP, NC and Congress ready to Join Hands

Srinagar, November 21 (KNB): The government formation is taking new turns with each passing day. The Grand Alliance of the three mainstream parties, National conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Indian National Congress (INC) being the most talked about as PDP and Congress are planning to join hands to form a coalition government in the state with Omar Abdullah’s NC providing outside support.

Meanwhile, PDP’s MLA and former Education Minister, Altaf Bukhari while addressing to press on Wednesday confirmed the Grand alliance of NC, PDP and INC for the formation of government. “As far as I have been informed by the sources, the news for the Govt formation is confirmed, with 55-60 MLA’s joining the alliance,” he said.

While asking about the statement by senior PDP Member, Muzaffar Beigh, Bukhari said that he does not want to comment on it as Beigh is the senior member of the Party and the legal constitution of PDP.

Earlier, Muzaffar Beigh, senior PDP member and former Deputy Chief Minister while addressing a press conference at his residence said that he is sternly considering to join the third Front. On asking about if he is thinking to resign from PDP, Beigh said, “If the party won’t take any action after my statement, I’ll resign.”

He further said, “I was never consulted whenever decisions were taken by PDP, when I was just a call away. The party betrayed both the workers and leaders.”

According to sources, President of Indian National Congress(INC), Rahul Gandhi has called the party leaders to Delhi for the discussion regarding the formation of the government.

Meanwhile, as per the sources, Congress is not interested in the government formation rather they want want the elections to be held.

However, senior Congress leader and Former Chief Minister ,Ghulam Nabi Azad also confirmed that talks were going over the government formation among the three parties.

“It is a suggestion by the parties, the decision is yet to be taken, “he added.

Reacting on Govt formation, Former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday claimed that the formation of alliance is basically direction from Pakistan.
As of now, Curiosity has reached another level as the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and People’s Conference (PC) were in the run to form the government and now the news of formation of the Grand Alliance has changed the whole game. (KNB)
