Baramulla 31 Octpber (KNB): The lackadaisical attitude of the Education Department can be gauged by the fact that recently Hon’ble High court of Jammu and Kashmir has passed an order directing all private Educational institutions, not to force parents to purchase school uniform and school books within the premises of concerned schools rather have banned all private Educational institutions from the same.

But unfortunately, one of the premier institute of Baramulla namely St.Josephs Higher Secondary school is openly violating the order passed by Hon’ble High Court, of Jammu and kashmir and has awarded contract to one blue eyed person, who is openly selling school books and school uniforms on exorbitant prices because school management has not issued list of books to any other booksellers so that parents can purchase books from outside the school from any other bookshop.

“St.Josephs Higher Secondary school Baramulla and the Management of the said school is pressurizing parents and students to buy school books and uniforms from the concerned shop, which total gross violation of the order of and contempt of Hon’ble High court told a group of parents while talking to Kashmir News Bureau.

The parents while talking to Kashmir News Bureau told their is no check on their fee structure and on the exorbitant prices which the school charges for different co-curricular activities and they appealed Divisional Commissioner kashmir and Deptuy commissioner Baramulla to personally intervene into the matter and take stern action against the management of St.Josephs Higher Secondary school Baramulla so that parents and students will not suffer anymore.(KNB)
